An important analysis article that was recently published in the prestigious genetic journal Nature Genetics underlines the excellence of the University of Patras. This work introduces microattribution, a novel approach to analyze genetic heterogeneity in the human globin genes that can be readily applicable to other common and/or complex genetic disorders.

We wish to congratulate the Faculty members and the other collaborators that participated in this work, particularly the coordinator and senior author of this study Dr. George P. Patrinos, Assistant Professor from the Department of Pharmacy.
